The PROLINK Group of Companies Expands
TORONTO - Effective immediately, the Canadian owned PROLINK Insurance
Group Inc. has expanded to include Smith & Associates Insurance of Thunder
Bay.
Doug Smith, President of Smith & Associates Insurance, formerly known as
Smith Boshcoff Insurance, has said "We are all very excited and looking forward
to the opportunity of representing The PROLINK Insurance Group in Northern
Ontario."
PROLINK President, Joe McCabe, sees only benefits in this amalgamation. "The
inclusion of Smith & Associates in our operations will enable us to more
successfully deliver insurance programs to Northern Ontario". 2006 also marks
Smith & Associates' 60th Anniversary of service to the Thunder Bay region.
PROLINK writes over $250,000,000 in P&C premiums. The group consists of
HDF Insurance of Edmonton, Curtis Insurance, Jones DesLauriers Insurance
Management Inc. and LMS PROLINK Ltd of Toronto, and Belmont Financial
Group, Cluett Insurance and MacCoy Insurance Brokers of Nova Scotia.
